“There has been no change in Telangana… only the CM and the party flag have changed… the administration remains the same,” said Union Minister and State BJP President G Kishan Reddy. Speaking to a meeting organised Sangareddy seeking support for BJP candidates in MLC elections, he flagged that if there was opposition to BRS in ten years, but there was opposition to the Congress party within ten months.
He criticized that the 420 promises made to the Congress party to bring about change have completely failed to be implemented. He was furious that the Congress party is abusing power. He reminded that only BJP will contest three MLC seats. Kishan Reddy assured that he will be in the Legislative Council as a questioning voice if BJP candidates are mocked.
He criticized that BRS has acted in a way that raises doubts about the existence of the Legislative Council and has weakened the Legislative Council. He reminded that Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy had come to the unemployed in Hyderabad and promised to announce the job calendar.
He questioned that even though the Center announced the PRC, it has not been announced in the state so far. He blamed the Congress and BRS for damaging the state’s economic situation. He said that all the power generation in Kazipet Coach Factory, Warangal Mega Textile Park, Karimnagar Urea Factory, and NTPC was done during the BJP rule.
He recalled that it is the Modi government that is providing fertilizers to farmers with subsidies. He said that it is also his government that has provided remunerative prices to farmers. In 2014, before Modi became the Prime Minister, he bought paddy for Rs. 3,000 crores, but now he said that he is buying paddy from Telangana farmers for Rs. 26,000 crores.
“They are talking about what the Center has done. If KCR and Revanth come together, come. We will show what the Modi government has done in ten years. Not a single rupee has been given to the gram panchayats from the state. Harish Rao, are you ready to discuss the funds given by the center? ”, the Union Minister challenged.
He made it clear that the Congress party will get only zero votes in all the upcoming elections. He predicted that the Congress party will be defeated whenever the elections are held in Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh. Kishan Reddy expressed confidence that only a double engine government will come to power in Telangana.
