Former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, Nallari Kirankumar Reddy, accused current Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy of driving the state into bankruptcy during his five-year tenure. At a gathering convened by the TDP, Janasena, and BJP alliance in Rayachoti town, Kiran Kumar Reddy, honored as the chief guest, criticized Jagan’s governance, accusing him of passivity towards securing special status and state shares.

He alleged a significant increase in state debt under Jagan’s rule, from Rs. 90 thousand crores to Rs. 8 lakh crores, without corresponding development. Kiran Kumar Reddy highlighted rising rates on commodities, loans, and a surge in illegal activities like sand, alcohol, and drug mafias under the YCP government.

He urged for a coalition government of TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena to curb the state’s chaos and restore order and development. He criticized Jagan’s silence on demands for justice for Viveka Nanda Reddy’s murder and highlighted the need for decisive leadership. Kiran Kumar Reddy invoked former CM Rajasekhar Reddy’s support for his leadership, urging unity against the current regime’s failures.
