The BRS Chief KCR has shocked his opponents and political observers of the Telangana State by announcing 115 MLA candidates for the respective constituencies so that they can start the electioneering way before other parties. Despite mixed responses to this act, the Chief is moving forward with his idea and is also observing the progress of the announced candidates.
Telangana CM KCR is keen on winning power for the third time in a row and he is doing everything in his hand to make sure he is selecting the right candidates. He has deployed a special team of 20 leaders from BRS and most of these are seniors of the party in various positions like Ministers and MLAs. Their job is to closely monitor the status and progress of all the announced candidates regarding five factors like MLA’s conduct in the Public, his availability to the voters of the constituency if he or she is taking the welfare schemes to the public, whether he is explaining the schemes of the government and candidate’s loyalty to the party. The 20-member team will interact with the Public and voters of each constituency to rate the candidate’s progress and send it to the boss of KCR.
This new decision of KCR has again backfired internally as some of his own MLAs are showcasing their anger in different forms. Already the BRS leaders are not okay with some candidates in the announced list and KCR wishes to cool them by showcasing the progress. Only the results of the general polls of 2023 in December will explain whether all these efforts of KCR help the party or actually dent the MLA seats.
