The Telangana Legislature is all set to meet for the Winter sessions to discuss the very crucial points on State’s financial issues and debts. Chief Minister KCR directed Finance Minister Harish Rao and Legislature Affairs Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy to meet the Speaker and finalize the dates of the session.
CM KCR who got vexed with BJP’s central government and its politics towards the state of Telangana wanted these sessions at any cost to explain how the center is cutting the funds short of what’s required. According to the TRS Chief, the BJP government forced the Pink Government to implement its new reforms but KCR was so reluctant in following those as they will directly affect the local farmers deeply. The Centre declared that the FRBM limit for every state for the fiscal year 2022-23 is Rs 54,000 crores but the CM stated that this limit was reduced to 39,000 crores of rupees with a loss of 15,000 crores already. As this is not enough, the reluctance in implementing the center proposed schemes also resulted in the cuts of 21,000 along with another 6,000 crores for unmatched policies between the center and Telangana state. In total, KCR declared that the state suffered almost Rs 40,000 crores of rupees from central funds
The TRS Supreme is keen on explaining these financial shortages to the other leaders of the house and letting the voters know how the center is downplaying and halting the developments in Telangana.
