BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha made sensational comments that there is a conspiracy to merge BRS with BJP. She said that the conspiracy started while she was in jail and revealed that she threatened her father KCR that she would quit the party if a merger takes place.
Strongly refuting criticism in social media branding her as a `Congress covert’, she asked should we think that there are BJP converts in BRS? “There is a grand effort to hand over BRS to BJP. When the proposal came while I was in jail, I opposed it. My preference is to remain independent rather than merge BRS with BJP”, she asserted.
She also strongly refuted speculations that she will be sent out from BRS and asked “who will send me out of the party? There is no such scene. They are showing their glory to me like Greek heroes when they are trying to scold the heroes of the League.”
She also expressed her concern over the ongoing campaign that she is contacting embassies of Congress and said that she does not need such a thing. She alleged that there is a conspiracy to increase the distance between her and father KCR. Kavitha said that everyone knows who benefits if she is sent out from the party. She alleged that she was deliberately defeated in the MP elections.
“Why should I leave my father and my family? We should talk about Congress and BJP, but why attack me? It is a complete lie that I spoke to Congress. KCR is my only leader in BRS. I will work under KCR’s leadership. There will be protocol and respect given to the working president,” she clarified.
Kavitha was angry that the party had targeted her on social media and demanded that the leakers should be caught. She also wondered why the party is not condemning false news against her? She questioned why the party did not protest when he received notices from the Kaleshwaram Commission and why he made a fuss when another leader received notices? Kavitha made it clear that she would not do petty politics like them and would remain calm. She said that the Congress party is a sinking ship.
