Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s Drishyam series, helmed by Jeethu Joseph, has captured the attention of audiences worldwide. The overwhelming success of Drishyam and its sequel Drishyam 2, which were remade in several languages to great acclaim, has sparked growing anticipation for the highly awaited third chapter.
A few months back, rumors spread quickly about Drishyam 3 being produced simultaneously in Malayalam and Hindi. Social media was filled with speculation that the script was finalized and the film would hit screens in 2025, with production set to begin soon.
Jeethu Joseph has put the rumors to rest, dismissing them as baseless. The director confirmed that the script for Drishyam 3 is far from complete, and the project isn’t set to begin anytime soon. Adding to the delay is Mohanlal’s packed schedule, as he is currently working on Lucifer 2.
