The Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has visited the rain-hit parts of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh today. He interacted with the farmers whose paddy and other crops were damaged due to untimely rains.
We all know that a few days back the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu visited the rain-hit areas in the east and west Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh and consoled the farmers. Now the Janasena chief has taken the responsibility to visit the rain-hit areas and interacted with the farmers about the damaged crops. He came to Rajahmundry and went to Kadiyam to visit the rain-hit farmers. The farmers have expressed their pain and agony regarding the damaged crops due to the untimely rains. The farmers have confessed that no government official has come to visit them and also complained about the officials refusing to buy the damaged crops.
Pawan Kalyan has expressed his dissatisfaction over what Raithu Bharosa centers have been doing when the farmers were in distress about their damaged paddy crops. He also wondered why the government has not come forward to solve the issues faced by the farmers. Pawan Kalyan also told that its the government’s responsibility to rescue the farmers in this kind of situation and has given the assurance that Janasena will stand beside them in this issue and fight till they get the compensation.
