A significant property dispute has erupted within the YS family, bringing former Chief Minister Jagan and YS Sharmila into direct conflict. The issue has escalated to panchayat courts, with both parties exchanging heated letters. Jagan filed a case regarding shares in Saraswati Power, prompting the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to release a letter from Sharmila addressing this dispute. At the same time, Jagan has written to Sharmila, detailing their disagreements over property and political issues, in which he emphasized several crucial points.

In a recent letter to his sister Sharmila, former Chief Minister Jagan elaborated on the financial transactions at the heart of their dispute. He expressed his frustration over her political opposition, which he feels has damaged his personal reputation. Jagan also criticized her for making public statements he deemed misleading, voicing his anger over what he considers her spreading of untruths. He detailed how her actions have affected him emotionally and announced his intention to reclaim the shares he had previously gifted her in the Saraswati Power Company.

In his letter, Jagan pointed out that their father had divided the inherited assets equally between them while he was still alive. He clarified that he started his own businesses using his efforts and investments, which were not connected to their inheritance. Jagan mentioned that he transferred some properties to Sharmila out of love and affection, as well as shares in their mother’s name. He also noted that they had made an agreement for Sharmila to receive these assets once the legal issues were sorted out. Furthermore, he disclosed that over the past decade, he had given Sharmila and indirectly their mother a total of ₹200 crore, emphasizing that it was all done with love.

Jagan expressed his disappointment regarding Sharmila’s apparent lack of gratitude in their dealings. He stated that, due to her actions against him, he felt no obligation to show her kindness or affection. Jagan mentioned that if Sharmila demonstrates any positive change in her behavior or attitude, he would be open to reconsidering how to manage their assets once the legal issues are settled. He also urged her to avoid making negative remarks about Avinash and Bharathi, emphasizing the importance of steering clear of political conflicts.
