The YSRCP chief and the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy is in no way looking back at the consequences of shifting his base from Vijayawada to Vizag.
The cabinet meeting has taken place today and a decision has been taken regarding this. The chief minister along with the cabinet ministers have decided to shift their base of administration from Vijayawada on the occasion of Dussehra. The cabinet has also decided to pass the GPS bill and assured the government employees to give them a house site by the time they retire. The cabinet also made it clear that Arogya Shri will also be extended to the retired employees and their children.
Jagan Sarkar has given the standard operating procedures regarding this. No matter what the situation and the repercussions, the Jagan government seems to have decided to go ahead in this matter. There is no clarity whether the government offices will be shifted or not as there are no proper facilities to accommodate the people.
