Jagan Demands Chandrababu, Lokesh Be Named In political Murders

Former chief minister and YCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy demanded that both chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh should be named as accused in the political murders going on in the state.

He consoled the grieving family of Pasupuleti Subbarayudu, who was brutally murdered last Saturday night allegedly by TDP goons in Seetharampuram village of Nandyal district and said that not only the direct perpetrators but also those who orchestrated the crimes should be held accountable.

Describing the present coalition government in the state a `Red Book’ regime, Jaganmohan Reddy said that both Chief Minister Naidu and  Lokesh be held accountable for recent political murders in the state.

He alleged that Subbarayudu was killed just for being a polling booth agent, and this happened in front of the police. He deplored that his wife was also attacked, and despite the presence of the accused, the police failed to arrest them.

Moreover, he expressed his anger that the police even facilitated their escape. Who is influencing the police to support the culprits?, he asked. Expressing concern that similar incidents are happening everywhere in the state, the former chief minister said that analyzing the call data of the accused will reveal who is behind these murders.

Lamenting that the present government has been worsening law and order in the state, he accused that these violent acts were carried out only for political dominance. Questioning the name of this administration, he expressed his outrage over the creation of a fearful environment in the state.

Jagan lamented that “the state is witnessing lawlessness, with a regime that is fostering violence. The ‘Red Book’ governance is being implemented, and systems are being corrupted for dominance. Law and order in the state have been destroyed”.

Jagan alleged that Naidu is creating chaos instead of fulfilling promises made during elections. “Chandrababu deceived women and children. He promised Rs. 15,000 to every child but failed to deliver. After the elections, he betrayed the children”, he said. Chandrababu promised Rs. 20,000 to farmers but deceived them, he added.
