Reigning heroine Trisha Krishnan is back in the reckoning after her newfound craze with stupendous roles in Mani Ratnam’s period saga, Ponniyin Selvan. She also appeared in Thalapathy Vijay’s recent gangster drama Leo. She is now flooded with numerous big-ticket offers and one among them is beside Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi in his upcoming film Vishwambhara.
According to an official announcement, Trisha started shooting for this magnum opus fantasy adventure today in Hyderabad. The makers of Vishwambhara welcomed Trisha onto the sets during the ongoing schedule in which prominent episodes featuring her and Chiru will be canned in a magnificent set erected with a staggering budget. Chiru handed over a bouquet and welcomed her in style. News about her casting has been making rounds for quite some time now.
Interestingly, Trisha reunited with Chiranjeevi after a long gap of 18 years. Previously, she shared screen space with him in AR Murugadoss directional Stalin. Her last Telugu film was Nayaki which released in 2016. She was supposed to work with Chiru in Acharya, but the plan didn’t materialize due to some creative issues.
In Vishwambhara, Trisha will have a significant role in the narrative and director Mallidi Vassistha felt that she is the right person to justify the character. Trisha is impressed with the script and jumped on the board with no second thoughts.
Besides Vishwambhara, Trisha has lined up a bunch of crazy films which are in different stages of production.
