Prime Minister Narendra Modi has indicated that if re-elected, his government may implement the One Nation, One Election and Uniform Civil Code plans, emphasizing the BJP’s track record of fulfilling its election manifesto promises. In an interview with PTI, Modi revealed that he has extended the typical 100-day plan for the next term by an additional 25 days to solicit suggestions from the youth on what they expect from the government immediately upon its return to power. This extension aims to incorporate the aspirations and expectations of the younger generation into the government’s initial actions.
Before the Lok Sabha elections were announced, Modi had instructed all ministries to prepare a 100-day plan for the next government’s project implementations. When asked about including One Nation, One Election and a central law on the Uniform Civil Code in this plan, Modi confirmed that these initiatives are part of the BJP’s election manifesto. He underscored his government’s commitment to fulfilling these promises, highlighting the importance of meeting the expectations of India’s youth for the country’s development.
