The General Secretary of TDP, Nara Lokesh is busy with his walkathon under the name ‘Yuva Galam’ and has reached the assembly segment of Chintalapudi where he was well received by the locals. The young leader expressed his happiness over the warm reception, especially from the women supporters of TDP.
Delighted with the rakhis tied to his hand by the local women on the occasion of the Rakhi today, Lokesh declared that he will fight for the safety and empowerment of women as long as he is alive. He added that his grandfather, the late NTR has given equal rights to women in property and made history while his father Chandrababu Naidu worked a lot to uplift women with various welfare schemes like Dwakra, Pasupu Kunkuma, etc. in his regime. On this occasion, Nara Lokesh promised to take care of the safety and welfare of AP women with necessary regulations.
The scion of TDP also interacted with the fishermen of the community as he got to know that the local MLA had been troubling them. The dynamic leader promised them to get a GO that would aid them with their own allocation of fish ponds to cultivate. At this juncture, even the Greenfield Highway sufferers also complained regarding the less compensation paid by the State Government for which Lokesh declared that he will solve all the impending issues when TDP forms government in 2024.
