In a separate development, Telangana Special Police and their families are voicing their concerns statewide, demanding a “One State, One Policing Policy.” Recently, families of constables protested outside the Secretariat. As part of disciplinary measures, the police department has suspended 39 constables and dismissed another 10. Given the current unrest, intelligence sources have indicated that protests by the Telangana Special Police could intensify.
Adding to the political tension, the Janwad party incident has ignited controversy within the opposition BRS party after foreign liquor was confiscated from a farmhouse linked to a prominent leader’s relative. Several individuals now face legal scrutiny, leading BRS leaders to accuse the government of politically motivated harassment. They maintain that the event was a family gathering rather than a rave party, alleging that the government is concocting false charges.
