Hotshot Tamil director finally reveals about NTR’s film

Hotshot Tamil director Vetrimaaran is well known for dishing out hard-hitting and intense actioners. He delivered blockbusters with Visaranai, Vada Chennai, and Asuran to name a few. His debut in Tollywood has been a long-discussed topic among cinephiles and industry circles. A few months ago, it was widely speculated that he will soon collaborate with NTR for a direct Telugu film. However, nothing concrete has been heard after that buzz.

For the first time, Vetrimaaran has opened up about NTR’s film. As part of promotions of his upcoming film Viduthalai – Part 1, Vetrimaaran spoke to Telugu media in Hyderabad this Tuesday. During his interaction, he revealed that a project with NTR is in the nascent stages and will happen sometime later.

Vetrimaaran also informed that he met NTR a couple of times during lockdown and narrated a script. He also recalled the days when he met Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu intending to direct them. He added that those projects didn’t materialise due to various reasons.

Viduthalai- Part 1 is slated for release on April 15th. Tollywood producer Allu Aravind is bringing the Telugu version ‘Vidudala’ in Andhra and Telangana.
