Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha accused former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy of cancelling his Tirupati trip, as he did not want to go to Tirumala. He alleged that he was only talking about some notices to divert public attention from his real intentions.
She made it clear no attempt was made to stop him from coming to Tirumala and no notice was issued to him in this regard. She said that Jagan has been visiting several places in the state after losing power, but nowhere he was obstructed.
Anita wondered that Jagan was talking about the laddu taste and demanded him to tell on which day he tasted Tirumala laddu? She lamented that these are the people who put prasadam in tissue paper and throw it aside.
Anita was furious with YS Jagan for not even apologizing for making a mistake with adulteration of Tirupati laddu. She also expressed her anger over Jagan finding mistakes over setting up a SIT to investigate the Tirumala Srivari Laddu adulteration case. She asked whether a SIT should be constituted with the employees of Sakshi, but not with police personnel?
The Home Minister said that police officers, who were in the government during Jagan’s regime, are only in the SIT. If Jagan and his associates didn’t commit any fraud at Tirumala, why did they approach the High Court against vigilance enquiry?
Anita asked Jagan what was his difficulty in going to the temple after giving the declaration? She questioned him why he wanted to avoid respecting Hindu traditions? Anita reminded that not a single Dalit was given a chance in the TTD Trust Board formed by Jaganmohan Reddy’s government. She wonders that such Jagan is now talking about entry of dalits into temples. Anita, asserting that she is a Hindu, she dares Jagan to reveal his religion.
She recalled that present minister Dola Balaveeranjaneya Swamy, who was an SC, had been given an opportunity in the TTD trust board during the previous TDP regime. She expressed her anger that even if she, a Hindu Dalit, got the opportunity to be in the TTD board, it was Jagan who made her lose with his vicious campaign in the blue media. She ridiculed that everyone will understand the humanity of Jagan’s words only after seeing his mother and sister.
