The month of July is shocking to the trade experts as a couple of films like Samajavaragamana already proved their mettle and ended up as silent hits without any expectations. Now another film called ‘Hidimba’ is carrying out some decent pre-release buzz among movie lovers.
This suspenseful action thriller initially was supposed to come in April but got postponed due to various reasons. The movie came into the limelight when Censor provided a lot of objections for its violent content and the makers edited the movie and went for the second time for which the board permitted some cuts. The released theatrical trailer increased the hype as the story revolves around human flesh-eating cannibalism and the visuals are quite promising. If everything goes well and the director delivers the same output as in the trailer, then Hidimba would be the next in line of hits for the month of July.
Omkar’s brother Ashwin Babu and Nanditha Swetha are the main leads and Anil Kanneganti directed this movie along with the story. The movie is produced by Sreekar under the SVKC banner and AK Entertainments’ Anil Sunkara is releasing this violent thriller on 20th July 2023. Since the content is good and no competition from other movies, Hidimba has great potential to become a hit.
