Hyderabad is bracing for a heavy downpour. IMD has issued an Orange alert for Hyderabad and many districts in Telangana have been given red alert. Initially, a red alert was issued for Hyderabad as well but it was later changed to an orange alert. An orange alert means heavy rainfall is expected and as per the prediction, this night is going to be a dangerous one as huge rainfall is expected throughout the night.
Officials have issued orders not to come out until it is extremely necessary. Schools have been given holidays on the 26th and the 27th as well. Many offices have given Work From Home to its employees and the GHMC has also issued orders regarding logout timings for the employees working in the IT corridor region to avoid massive traffic congestion.
