Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy accused KCR and Harish Rao of facilitating AP’s significant share of Krishna river water through Potireddipadu. In response, Harish Rao countered, asserting that Revanth had stayed silent on this issue during his TDP days and criticized him for baseless allegations. Harish emphasized the need for accountability in implementing election promises before seeking votes in Lok Sabha elections.
Harish Rao expressed readiness for a discussion on projects in the Assembly and promised a robust response. He refuted Revanth Reddy’s claim of agreeing to hand over projects to KRMB, stating that it was untrue. Harish pointed out that under pressure from the Centre, Revanth’s government eventually agreed to transfer the projects and questioned the Congress party’s role in introducing the bifurcation law bill. These statements were made during a comprehensive meeting of the BRS party in Hyderabad.
