The team of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Karam’ has experienced a shock from the local police regarding its grand pre-release function that is planned tomorrow. Sources close to the team state that this function has been denied permission from the Hyderabad Police.
Going into the details, the Pongal biggie Guntur Karam is all set to organize its huge pre-release cum trailer release event tomorrow, which is on 6th January in Hyderabad. A happening event organizers applied for the permissions a week back but the Police denied permission citing traffic and vehicle parking issues at Parade grounds. The shocked team is in a huge dilemma whether or not to proceed with the same date by changing the venue to either indoor auditoriums, LB Stadium, etc, or to postpone the event to a later date. However, the makers are using their political contacts to get permission from someplace to organize this function tomorrow itself as they already promised the fans way before.
Written and directed by Trivikram, Guntur Karam is produced by S Radha Krishna and his nephew Naga Vamsi with a huge budget. Meenakshi Chowdary and Sreeleela are the female leads in this Thaman’s musical. All have set their eyes on the theatrical trailer to gauge the expectations before the release.
