Guntur Kaaram : Thaman out, Anirudh In

The inevitable has happened. As expected, SS Thaman has been expelled from Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Guntur Kaaram. Hotshot sensation Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in as a replacement for him. This development has been on the cards for quite some time now and Trivikram has finally opted to replace Thaman because of undue pressure from Mahesh Babu.

Going into the details, Mahesh Babu has been against Thaman since the beginning of the project. He insisted on replacing Thaman with any other music composer. But, Trivikram convinced Mahesh Babu and promised to extract the best from Thaman. Despite all rumours, Thaman has composed the background score for the first look teaser.

However, it is now reported that Thaman has been replaced because he has not yet composed a single tune for Guntur Kaaram. As he has other commitments, Trivikram finally decided to go with Anirudh Ravichander. They both previously worked for Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavaasi. Anirudh is currently busy with NTR’s Devara. So, he will team up with Trivikram for the second time after a gap of 5 years.
