‘Guntur Kaaram’ progressing at full tilt to meet the deadlines

After repeated delays, the shooting formalities of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming rustic entertainer Guntur Kaaram are now progressing at a rapid pace. Despite facing so many production challenges after it went on floors last year, the Trivikram Srinivas directional has managed to maintain a strong buzz because of the heady combination that reunited for the third time after Athadu and Khaleja.

Since its resumption last week, the shooting has been proceeding at full tilt without any pause. Crucial episodes featuring Mahesh Babu and other cast are being shot in Hyderabad. Recently, a terrific action block under the supervision of fight masters duo Ram-Lakshman has been wrapped up. Trivikram is making sure that the action elements are crafted with perfection. There is a lot of pressure on him to make this film a perfect entertainer because Mahesh will next work with SS Rajamouli for a global project.

As the film is slated for release on January 12th, the team is planning to wind up the entire production by the second week of December and kick-start the promotions. Meanwhile, the first single is likely to be out in mid-September. SS Thaman is composing the tunes.

Sree Leela and Meenakshii Chaudhary are playing the female leads. Haarika and Hassine Creations is bankrolling the film.
