‘Game Changer’ facing innumerable difficulties

Ram Charan’s next film after RRR, Game Changer, has been facing innumerable production challenges ever since it went on floors last year. Even after the lapse of 18 months, there is still a considerable portion of shooting yet to be wrapped up. There is no official word on when the film will hit the screens.

Director Shankar has a reputation for taking a long time to complete his films. So, it was expected that Game Changer would take a minimum of two years to complete its principal photography. As Shankar resumed work on Indian 2 in the middle, the filming of Game Changer got delayed further.

Due to the unavailability of dates of all crucial artists in the cast, Shankar is unable to plan the shooting schedules efficiently. The latest schedule was cancelled for this reason and the team has officially announced that shooting will resume only next month.

Game Changer will likely take another six months to complete all shooting activities. There is a strong buzz in industry circles that the film will hit the screens in the second half of 2024.

Game Changer is touted to be a trademark Shankar-style social drama laced with commercial elements. Kiara Advani is the female lead and Dil Raju is bankrolling the film on a massive scale.
