Gadar 2 director says only ‘NTR’ can do it

Sunny Deol’s blockbuster sequel Gadar 2 is marching towards the elite 500 Crore Club with its stupendous run at the box office. Despite many new releases, the period drama has been registering solid numbers in all territories.

Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma, in a recent interview, spoke at length about the film and other aspects of its making. He made an interesting revelation about the current generation actor who could reprise the iconic Tara Singh character from Gadar.

During the interview, Anil Sharma opined that only NTR from the current crop of actors can fit into the badass role of Tara Singh. When the interviewer asked him about his choice who can render justice to the role, Anil Sharma answered no one from Bollywood in the present generation can match Sunny Deol in Gadar.

Anil Sharma then added that from South India, only NTR fits the bill to portray such an intense character. He added that NTR is a brilliant actor who can pull off any kind of role with his commendable voice and fearless act.

This is a huge compliment for NTR who already won plaudits from Bollywood for his impeccable performance as Bhem in RRR. He will soon work with Hrithik Roshan for War 2. He is currently busy shooting for Devara.
