The daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth, Aishwarya tasted a dud with her recent directorial outing Lal Salaam featuring her father Thalaivar in a crucial role. The star’s daughter has opened up regarding an unknown issue that prompted the movie’s bad editing.
Lal Salaam was hyped by the trade circles since the movie dealt with Communism and Cricket as it stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles where Rajinikanth donned an important role. The movie ended up as a huge flop and the director Aishwarya immediately acknowledged the result. However, she revealed that the team lost footage from 21 days of shooting with 10 cameras due to a technical glitch in a hard disk and it impacted the movie’s edit a lot.
One can feel that the film was rushed and edited badly but now that the reason is known, they say that it was indeed a daring move from Aishwarya to release the film despite the loss of footage.
