ఎంతో ఆసక్తిగా జరిగిన తానా ఎన్నికల ఫలితాల్లో అవకతవకలు ఉన్నాయంటూ టీం వేమూరి వర్గం తానా ఎన్నికల సంఘాన్ని ఛాలెంజ్ చేసింది.2023 December 27 లో ఎన్నికల వోటింగ్ ప్రాసెస్ మొదలవగా January 17 వరకు తానా సభ్యులు తమ వోట్ హక్కుని వినియోగించుకున్నారు ..
January 18న ఫలితాల కౌంటింగ్ పోటీదారుల నడుమ జరగాల్సి ఉండంగా.. అనూహ్యంగా zoom కాల్ లో ..ఎన్నికల సంగం ఒక ప్రింట్ అవుట్ తీసుకొని వచ్చి విజేతలు వీళ్ళే అంటూ టీం కోడలి ప్యానెల్ ను విజేతలుగా ప్రకటించారు .. ఆ ఎన్నికల ఫలితాల ప్రక్రియను ఛాలెంజ్ చేస్తూ టీం వేమూరి వర్గం ఎన్నికల సంఘానికి ఫిర్యాదు చేసింది ..
తానా ఎన్నికల నియమావళి ప్రకారం , అభ్యర్థుల ముందు కౌంటింగ్ చేయవలసి ఉండగా .. ఆ నియమాన్ని తుంగలోకి తొక్కి , ఒక పేపర్ PRINT OUT ద్వారా ఫలితాలను చదువుతూ వెళ్లారు. ఆ ఫలితాలు ఎంతవరకు నమ్మదగినవి అని మీరే ఆలోచించాలి, అదే టీం వేమూరి వర్గం యొక్క ప్రధమ అభియోగం ..
మరీ ముఖ్యంగా ఈ ఎన్నికల్లో invalid ఓట్లు గురించి ప్రస్తావించగా ..జీరో invalid ఓట్లు అనేది పెద్ద అనుమానానికి దారితీసింది ..ఒక ఫోన్ ద్వారా కేవలం రెండు ఓటీపీ లు మాత్రమే generate అవ్వాలి, అంతకుమించి generate చేస్తే , ఆ ఫోన్ ద్వారా వచ్చిన అన్ని ఓట్లు invalid అవ్వాలి అనేది నియమం .. తెలియక ఒక సభ్యుడు ఒక ఫోన్ ద్వారా 8 OTP లు generate చేసాడు , ఆ ఫోన్ ద్వారా generate చేసిన ఓటీపీ , తద్వారా వేసిన VOTE, ఎన్నికల నియమావళి ప్రకారం invalid అవ్వాల్సి ఉంది ..అలాంటిది జీరో invalid VOTES అని ఎన్నికల సంగం zoom call లో ప్రస్తావించింది.
తానా సభ్యుల మద్దతు మరియు తమ మేనిఫెస్టో నచ్చి తమని ఎంతోమంది ఆదరించారు , విజయం అనివార్యం అని భావించాం, కానీ ఎవరో తప్పుడు దారిలో ఈ ఎన్నికల మీద ప్రభావం చూపారు ..అవి వెలిక తీయడానికే ఎన్నికలని ఛాలెంజ్ చేసాం అని టీం వేమూరి వాదన.

Contracts and Agreements:
Please provide details of the contracts between TANA (Telugu Association of North America), the Election Trust, and any other vendors involved in organizing the election. Transparency in these contractual agreements is crucial for a comprehensive understanding of the election process.
Access to Database and PIN’s:
There are concerns regarding access to the database and PINs. Can you provide information on the security measures in place to safeguard the database and ensure the confidentiality of PINs during the election process? Who has access to the database since the beginning of the elections? Can you please provide the logon information?
Undeliverable PINs:
In some instances, members didn’t receive PINs either by email or by postal mail despite having valid email and residential addresses. Could you please provide the logs of all individuals who didn’t receive the PINs?
Verification of OTPs:
During the announcement, the Election Trust assured that no mobile numbers received more than 2 OTPs, as per our guidelines. Attached is proof suggesting otherwise. Did the Election Trust truly validate and adhere to the published guidelines? I have several other proofs with different numbers to submit if needed. How many requests did the Election trust receive from the voters directly? Could you please provide the log if all the requests have been received served?
Manual Generation of OTPs:
The Election Trust stated that OTPs are manually generated in the last week of the election. Who authorized this process, and what is the purpose of having guidelines if they are not followed?
Issues with OTPs and PINs:
1) Members faced issues with OTP their votes were already casted without knowing them. As per our guidelines, OTPs are supposed to be valid for only 10 minutes. Votes of the members are casted by unknown people and what actions did election trust take to prevent that?
2) Alpha-Numeric Issues: As per guidelines, all PINs must be alpha numeric. However, several of them received only NUMERIC pins and few of them only received 6-digit alpha characters in lower case. Why did this issue happen? Did you do any analysis and data review before sending the PINs? Can you please provide the logs.
3) Few members received emails twice. Once on December 27th, 2023, and again on December 29th 2023. Could you please specify the reason on what basis the email is sent to only specific people?
Invalidation of Votes Outside North America:
As per our guidelines, votes cast outside North America are supposed to be invalidated. However, we have identified instances where voters unknowingly cast votes from India, Europe, and Dubai. Can you explain why these votes were not invalidated as per the guidelines?
MAC ID and IP address Capture:
According to election guidelines, MAC IDs and IP address are supposed to be captured, but it seems this hasn’t been followed. Can you provide insight into why this crucial step was overlooked?
Pre-Opening of Results:
Results were reportedly pre-opened in the absence of the election commission and contestants. According to guidelines, results should be viewed in the presence of everyone, with every step being followed. Why did this not occur?
Method of Communication:
The Election Trust mentioned that Mr. Babu serves as their sole point of contact in this election process. I’m curious to know if decisions were made collaboratively by the entire election committee or if they were made unilaterally. is [email protected] served as your primary mode of communication?
Email Correspondence on January 17th, 2024:
On January 17th, 2024, Mrs. Golla sent an email to the Election Trust expressing concerns about OTPs that had already been requested. The Election Trust responded with what appeared to be valid OTPs, only for them to later be revealed as messages indicating that the votes had already been cast. Could you provide an explanation for this discrepancy? (Please find attached)
Bounced Emails and Email Logs:
Emails are sent to all TANA Life members with PINs and voting instructions. Could you please provide the logs of the bounced emails, along with information on whether those members have cast their votes?
Postal PINs Returned to Sender:
Please provide information on the number of PINs sent to members via USPS first class, in accordance with the guidelines. Additionally, how many of these PINs were returned to the sender? Have you validated whether votes associated with these returned PINs have been cast? Kindly furnish the relevant logs for review.
Tally of PINs Generated and OTPs Requested:
Please provide a comprehensive tally of the PINs generated and the total number of OTPs requested along with the mobile number during the election process. This information is essential for evaluating the accuracy and integrity of the voting system.
Testing and Demonstration of Voting System:
Has the voting system been thoroughly tested and demonstrated for its ability to organize an election? Please provide details on the testing protocols, outcomes, and any demonstrations conducted to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the voting system.
Recorded Zoom Session for Results Announcement:
Requesting a recorded Zoom session when the results are announced. Providing a recording of the announcement will contribute to transparency and allow for a thorough review of the results declaration process and contestants concerns.
