Pan Indian Star Prabhas’s most anticipated project ‘Salaar’s teaser was out the other day and the promo clocked 80+ million views altogether on Youtube. To increase the buzz, there were many reports and details about the sequel ‘Salaar-2’.
Until this teaser, none expected ‘Salaar’ to be made in two parts as the movie itself was rumored to be an extension of the ‘KGF’ universe and there is not much to say. However, the teaser gave us many hints for part two as the first part is named ‘Salaar: Cease Fire’. It means the first part ends with a war between Prabhas and an army that resides in the KGF. The continuation post the war will be in part-2 and sources say that it has complete links with KGF-2’s ending. Proving these speculations as true, a reliable source from Salaar’s team declared that the director Prashanth Neel already planned the premise of the sequel and also shot a couple of scenes. The rest of the movie will be shot from December of 2023 when Prabhas completes ‘Project-K’.
Salaar: Cease Fire is directed by Prashanth Neel and bankrolled by Hombale Films. Jagapathi Babu plays a crucial role and Prithviraj Sukumaran is the baddie opposite Prabhas. Music is scored by Ravi Basur and other technicians are those who worked for the KGF series. Salaar-1 will be released on 28th September 2023 across the Globe in all major Indian languages.
