Story:

Gagan (Pradeep Ranganathan) faces heartbreak in love. After such a heartbreak, Kundhana (Mamitha Baiju), who is a daughter of Gagan’s maternal uncle Adikeshavulu (Sarath Kumar) and a childhood friend, declares her love for him. Gagan, though, refuses her and tells her he has no feelings, breaking Kundhana’s heart. She departs for another city to complete her higher studies.

Once Kundhana leaves, Gagan gets to know his actual feelings for her and tells his uncle Adikeshavulu. Kundhana’s marriage is fixed, but on the eve of the wedding, Kundhana surprises him by declaring that she doesn’t want to marry him as she loves Parthu (Hridhu Haroon). Desiring her happiness, Gagan attempts to get Kundhana and Parthu together.

Will Gagan succeed in sending Kundhana and Parthu overseas? How will Adikeshavulu react? What challenges will Gagan face after marrying Kundhana? Will someone new enter his life? All these questions can only be answered by watching the film.

Review:

Pradeep Ranganathan reiterates his versatility in this interesting entertainer, combining his familiar brand of comedy timing with emotional intensity and fashionable screen presence. With his range covering subtle reactions to high-octane sequences, he brings to life his character and brings him to the fore with the audience as relatable as well as endearing.

Mamitha Baiju is impressive as the lead actress, with a natural and winsome performance that brings credibility to her character. Sarath Kumar is notable in a key role, handling dramatic scenes with ease, while Neha Shetty leaves her mark in a crucial role. The cast of supporting actors, which includes Rohini, and Hridhu Haroon, lend depth to the cast, filling out a good cast list.

Director Keerthiswaran gets the best of both worlds in comedy and sentiment perfectly, making the first half light and entertaining. Gagan’s marriage to Kundhana by the interval piques curiosity and expectation for the second half. The emotional moments are interspersed nicely.

The latter half, although abounds in twists and crucial plot points, sometimes falters on the flow. Kundhana and Parthu’s scenes when they are together in the presence of Gagan appear a little forced, but still remain a part of the plot. Gagan’s efforts to reconcile the couple bring humor to the scene, keeping the audience interested, and Amud’s backstory seems unnecessary.

Technically, the film impresses. Sai Abhyankkar’s music perfectly complements the storytelling, while the background score elevates tense and emotional sequences. Cinematography by Niketh Bommi captures key moments beautifully, and Barath Vikraman’s editing, though competent, could have been tighter for a smoother viewing experience. Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi shankar maintain high production standards, giving the film a polished, cinematic feel.

Overall, while the second half could have been stronger and the heroine’s character more developed, the film succeeds as a mix of comedy, emotion, and strong performances, making it an enjoyable watch.
