South legendary actor Kamal Haasan who made a grand comeback with the recently successful film Vikram is now making headlines for a different reason. As per the latest sources, the Viswaroopam actor who has been the host for the last six seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil will quit the show to concentrate on his film career.
Although, Kamal Haasan has yet to make an official statement regarding the matter. But the rumors about the Dasavathaaram actor’s disinterest in hosting the new season of Bigg Boss Tamil are now doing rounds on the internet.
If this turns out to be true, Bigg Boss fans and Tamil audiences will miss seeing their favorite actor on the Television screens.
On the work note, Kamal Haasan is currently filming his upcoming vigilante action thriller Indian 2. The film is a sequel to his popular 1996 film Indian.
Helmed by the known Tamil filmmaker Shankar, Indian 2 ropes Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Gulshan Grover, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, in the key roles while star actors like Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Jayaprakash, Vennela Kishore and others will be seen in the supporting roles.
Financed by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, Indian 2 will be coming to entertain the audience on January 12 of next year.
Apart from Indian 2, Kamal Haasan also has an exciting future project which is tentatively titled KH234 with Mani Ratnam.
