The eagerly awaited mythological sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is poised to enthrall audiences and immerse them into the mystical world of Kashi from June 27.
With the film’s worldwide theatrical release just days away, the makers organized a grand pre-release event, which was held in Mumbai on Wednesday. The grand event was attended by the stellar cast of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, along with the film’s producers. The renowned versatile actor Rana Daggubati hosted the event.
During the event, Rana asked the cast of Kalki about the film and its director, Nag Ashwin. Amitabh Bachchan praised Nagi and said, “What the hell has Nagi been drinking to think of something outrageous and the visuals are unbelievable. Being part of Kalki is an immense honor and an experience that I will never forget.”
Kamal Haasan characterized Nag Ashwin as a remarkably creative individual and said, “Nagi is an extraordinary man who looks ordinary like my Guru, my mentor Bala Chandra Garu, but brilliantly creative.” He also mentioned that he always wanted to play a bad man role. I thought playing the bad man role will be fun.”
Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone said, “Kalki is a complete new world, a new cinematic world created by Nagi. His clear vision and direction made it a fulfilling professional experience for me.”
Darling Prabhas expressed his gratitude to Nagi and the producers of “Kalki,” highlighting their appreciation for the opportunity to collaborate with the greatest legends like Amitabh Bachachan and Kamal Hassan. He also shared his desire to work with Deepika, praising her as a beautiful, gorgeous superstar and great actress and saying, “It is beautiful to work with her.”
