Hyderabad: A scandal involving the intersection of the entertainment industry and the narcotics trade has erupted in Hyderabad’s bustling Gachibowli area. The Gachibowli Police have initiated a thorough investigation following a drug bust at the Radisson Blu hotel, implicating individuals from both local elite circles and the Telugu film industry. Notably, renowned filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi has been linked to the affair, sending shockwaves through the city’s social fabric.
The investigation began with the arrest of Gajjala Vivekanand, son of BJP leader Yoganandam, at a rave party where cocaine was among the substances discovered. Subsequently, other attendees, including actresses Lishi Ganesh and Shweta, have been named in the police FIR. Director Krish Jagarlamudi has maintained his innocence, asserting that his presence at the hotel was brief and innocuous.
