Tamil director Ashwath Marimuthu has struck gold once again with Dragon, starring Pradeep Ranganathan, Anupama Parameswaran, and Kayadu Lohar. The film, which was a roaring success in Tamil, received an equally phenomenal response in Telugu under the title Return of Dragon. Following the blockbuster success of Love Today, Pradeep Ranganathan’s latest venture has captivated youth audiences, smashing past the ₹100 crore mark and solidifying its status as a massive box-office winner.
In order to commemorate the success of the movie in Telugu, the crew arranged a grand success meet, attended by Pradeep Ranganathan, Ashwath Marimuthu, and producers from Mythri Distributors. Ashwath, in the course of the event, wished to convey his sincere appreciation for the affection received by the film and made an earnest appeal.
He recalled how Superstar Mahesh Babu’s tweet about his first movie, Oh My Kadavule, had such an impact and gained it so much more visibility. The Telugu remake, Ori Devuda, featuring Vishwak Sen too was well accepted. Ashwath now longingly hopes that Mahesh Babu would get to see Dragon and express what he thought about it. He requested the media to help take his appeal to the superstar, expressing how much it would mean to him.
