‘Devara’ Part 1 Glimpse: A ‘Bloody’ Rage

After setting high expectations with a flurry of epithets about NTR’s character in the film, the makers of Devara unveiled the first glimpse this Monday evening and it creates a solid impact because of the top-class production values that are on par with Hollywood standards.

Playing just over a minute, the teaser takes us on a bloody ride with NTR in a fearsome and violent avatar. He is projected as a saviour of the sea which witnesses illicit activities by a group of marauders who arrive in small boats to loot goods from a big ship.

NTR intercepts them and goes on a killing spree with a bunch of heavy-duty weapons and says it is a sea of blood with a powerful dialogue towards the end of the teaser. He is at his intense best yet again and showcases his rage in a typical manner.

The rampage created by NTR is propped up by superlative camerawork and an unconventional background score by Anirudh. The visuals are simply amazing and out of the world. The scenes shot in the night effect are terrific. The biggest surprise in the teaser is the English song which is a deviation from the regular norm.

Koratala Siva’s mind-blowing comeback with a never-before-seen visual extravaganza will be a talking point from now onwards because this is the first time he is handling a VFX-heavy story. He presented NTR in a fiery character and ensured that the technical values are nothing short of extraordinary.

Overall, the swashbuckling teaser further augments the hype on the film.

NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts are jointly bankrolling this film on an epic scale. The first part is slated for release on April 5th. It stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.
