Cricket Australia calls Ram Charan A Bollywood Actor

Thursday, September 19, 2024

Tollywood actor Ram Charan’s craze transcended beyond Telugu States after the stupendous success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR. He achieved global fame with his commendable performance and audiences across the world have been recognising him ever since RRR won an Oscar award last year. Many Hollywood artists and media houses all of over the globe heaped praises on him in the last two years.

It is a known fact that Charan arrived in Australia last week for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne during the Independence Day week. He hoisted the National Flag at Federation Square on Saturday and took part in various activities in the last few days. He will soon be awarded the Ambassador for Indian Art and Culture.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan posed with the Cricket World Cup won by Australia last year in Melbourne earlier today and the X handle of Cricket Australia posted a picture of him with the quote “A pleasure to cross paths with Bollywood megastar @AlwaysRamCharan in Melbourne ahead of a massive summer of cricket between Australia and India”.

While Charan’s recognition by the cricket media is a testament to his rising popularity after RRR, the fact that he is a Tollywood actor and not a Bollywood actor appears to be forgotten by the Australian Cricket handle. Many have pointed that the media should verify the facts before publishing them on social media.

On work front, Charan has just completed the shooting formalities of Game Changer and started working on his makeover for his next film RC16.
