Former YSRCP MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy has been granted custody by the Macherla court for two days following a police request. Pinnelli, currently held in Nellore jail, faces charges including EVM tampering and attempted murder of a polling agent during AP’s recent elections.
The court’s decision allows for further interrogation regarding allegations that Pinnelli was involved in damaging an EVM at Palvaigate polling booth. These incidents led to a case of attempted murder against Namburi Seshagiri Rao, a TDP agent, who accused Pinnelli of instigating violence against him.
