Telangana Congress leaders have been outraged by the former chief minister and BRS chief KCR’s accusations that the Congress government failed in all sectors in the state and BRS is certain to come back. They accused KCR of being unable to bear the welfare schemes implemented in the past year.
TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud lamented KCR for talking about the Congress graph as if he is reciting the Vedas to the devil. He said that KCR, who does not come to the assembly sessions as the leader of the opposition, has no moral right to speak on public issues.
He advised the former chief minister that it would be better for KCR to think about BRS before talking about the Congress party graph.
“Even though the people rejected him, he was given opposition status. Has KCR ever come to the assembly? It is as if he is reciting the Vedas to the devil when he talks about the Congress, but has never cared about the people. KCR has no moral right to speak on public issues. It would be better for KCR to think about BRS before talking about the Congress graph,” Mahesh Kumar Goud said.
BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar questioned whether any opposition leader would stay in a farmhouse for a year? He alleged that KCR had come out just for a passport.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy alleged that KCR is a seasonal politician and dreaming of coming back to power. He questioned how a person who has been in hiding for 14 months can see development? He advised that KCR should first think about his future and the future of his party, not about the future of the Congress.
Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao criticized KCR’s comments that the Congress graph has fallen because people forgot about the fact that people voted in the Assembly and Parliament elections. PCC General Secretary Addanki Dayakar predicted that the political agreement with the BJP has sunk the BRS and will sink it in the future.
