The Congress party has bagged a historical win in the Telangana state by defeating its arch-rival TRS led by K Chandrasekhara Rao.

Congress used to have a good hold in the state of Andhra Pradesh before the bifurcation of United AP. Post the bifurcation, the Congress has lost its life in the state and hasn’t recovered to date.
