Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced plans to construct a skywalk around Hyderabad’s Hussain Sagar Lake as part of the state government’s broader initiative to enhance tourism. The government has also decided to develop Buddhist tourist destinations, including the establishment of an international museum at Nagarjuna Sagar Buddhavanam.
Additionally, the Chief Minister has ordered the restoration of boating activities up to the backwaters of the area. In line with these developments, Revanth Reddy directed officials to draft comprehensive plans for the skywalk project around Hussain Sagar. The government is also considering the construction of a four-lane road connecting Hyderabad and Nagarjuna Sagar to improve accessibility to these tourist sites.
