Adilabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that his government will finalize the appointment of 15,000 constable posts within the next two weeks. He made this declaration during the ‘Telangana Punarnirmana Sabha’ public meeting in Indravelli on Friday. The delay in completing the constable appointments was attributed to an ongoing court case, neglected by the previous government.
Revanth Reddy assured the acceleration of the process with the Home Ministry’s cooperation. Addressing concerns raised by BRS leaders, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy asserted that Telangana was secure under the Congress, promising the fulfilment of six guarantees. He assured the imminent implementation of the Rs 500 gas cylinder scheme and the 200 units of free power scheme.
Strongly criticizing the previous BRS government for neglecting the tribal communities in the Adilabad region, Revanth Reddy pledged to adopt Adilabad and accomplish all pending irrigation projects. Recognizing the historical significance of the region with the war cry ‘Jan Jangal Jameen,’ he acknowledged the valiant tribal warriors and sought forgiveness from the tribal community for past injustices.
