Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy voiced his distress as political adversaries threatened to dismantle his government, questioning the justification for such aggression. Speaking at the ‘Mahila Shakti’ rally, he emphasized the people’s trust in Sonia Gandhi and the Congress, urging women to stand against those aiming to disrupt governance.
Revanth Reddy accused Modi and KCR of financial mismanagement, alleging that KCR’s family’s resentment toward initiatives like free bus travel for girls led to orchestrated protests. Despite challenges, he vowed to persevere, unraveling mysteries and striving for women’s empowerment, citing Sonia Gandhi’s empathy for those who have suffered during the Telangana movement.
Revanth Reddy highlighted the burden of debt left by KCR and expressed frustration over unfulfilled promises, particularly regarding housing. He emphasized the importance of empowering women financially and lamented the resistance faced from KCR’s family. He credited Sonia Gandhi’s recognition of sacrifices made during Telangana’s struggle, which led to the establishment of a separate state, symbolizing a commitment to preventing the separation of families.
