Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy proposed a significant idea to former minister KT Rama Rao, suggesting that KTR should consider undertaking a hunger strike to demand the funds owed to the state from the Centre. He assured KTR of the support of Congress workers during such an endeavor. Revanth Reddy criticized the delay in funds, attributing it to the previous government not associated with the Centre. “We had discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Defence Minister with the aim of fostering a cooperative relationship with the Centre,” remarked the Chief Minister.
He emphasized the importance of taking proactive measures for the state’s development, speaking to the media following the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Ramagundam Elevated Corridor in Hyderabad. Revanth Reddy noted the positive response from the Centre regarding the Outer Ring Road issue.
