CM Revanth Reddy Achieved Rs 12,062 crore Investment proposals During His Japan visit

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was able to secure Rs 12,062 crore investment proposals from Japan during his week-long tour, which concluded on Tuesday. These investments are expected to create about 30,500 jobs. On the last day,Revanth’s team visited Hiroshima.

A group of Hiroshima legislators took Revanth Reddy to the Gandhi Memorial, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. Revanth paid tribute to Gandhi by garlanding the statue. He paid floral tributes to those who died in the atomic bomb incident at Shanti Smriti Vanam. Later, he met Hiroshima Deputy Governor Mikayokata.

On this occasion, CM Revanth and Minister Sridhar Babu discussed with him the areas in which Telangana and Hiroshima can work together. They discussed cooperation in clean technology such as waste to energy, waste processing in municipalities, sewage treatment, renewable energy projects, urban innovation, infrastructure, disaster prevention designs in Hyderabad, underground metro engineering, smart city solutions, industrial cooperation and electric vehicles and electronics.

A proposal to set up a Hiroshima-Telangana Automotive and Mobility Corridor for manufacturing advanced products was also discussed.  Education, cultural exchange programs, ties between leading universities in Telangana with Hiroshima Institute of Technology, cooperation in research, Telangana culture, peace, tourism, Peace Park, cultural exhibitions, and cooperation in Buddhist heritage were sought.

The Revanth team visited the Hiroshima State Government Assembly. Speaker Takashi Nakamoto extended a warm welcome. CM Revanth Reddy addressed the meeting of legislators. “Hiroshima means hope. A city that has proven to the world that anything is possible when people work together. Telangana is a symbol of people’s hopes, aspirations and struggle. A state that has achieved success with foresight,” he said. They also met with representatives of the Hiroshima Chamber of Commerce.

During their tour, they reached an agreement with Marubeni Company to set up the Next Generation Industrial Park in Hyderabad Future City. Initial investment of Rs. 1000 crore, investment expected to increase to Rs. 5,000 crore and estimated to create about 30,000 jobs. NTT Data and Neisa companies have signed an agreement to jointly set up an Artificial Intelligence Data Center Cluster. Agreement with an investment of Rs. 10,500 crore.

Toshiba Transmission Distribution Systems India (TTDI) to set up electrical equipment and equipment manufacturing factory in Rudraram. Investment of Rs. 562 crores. Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM) under the auspices of the Department of Labour Employment and Training reached an  agreement with TGUK Technologies Private Limited (TERN) and Raj Group of Japan. Agreement to create jobs for 500 Telangana people through both.
