Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy instructed officials to reinstate Nalini, a former DSP who had resigned during the Telangana agitation. Expressing concern over any obstacles preventing her return to the police department, Revanth directed the Chief Secretary (CS) and Director General of Police (DGP) to promptly reappoint Nalini if she expressed interest. Revanth Reddy suggested exploring alternative departmental roles if guidelines in the police department posed challenges.
In response to the job offer, former DSP Nalini conveyed her gratitude. Despite the offer, Nalini expressed her disinterest in returning to work, citing that the dynamic officer within her had been stifled in the past. In a comprehensive Facebook post, she clarified that she couldn’t envision pursuing any job outside the police department due to her commitment to Shreyo’s path over Prayo’s. Her primary aspiration is to contribute to education, considering it the most significant form of donation, and to lead a virtuous life.
She reflected on her transformative journey from criminology to philosophy under the guidance of Parameswara, exchanging the gun for the Veda and becoming an acharya. Despite the internal conflicts and pain, Nalini affirmed her unwavering dedication to her journey, from DSP to DNA, asserting that no one can suspend her from this calling, and she will never find herself in a position to resign from it.
