Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of competing with capable leaders to gain recognition, stating, “To advance our state in development and welfare, I have the opportunity to compete with the Chief Minister of the neighboring state, Chandrababu.” Reflecting on his own work ethic, he added, “In the past, I aimed to work for 12 hours a day. Now, I have instructed officials and colleagues that we must work 18 hours a day, like Chandrababu, to match his efforts.” Revanth Reddy made these remarks at the 24th anniversary celebrations of Basavatarakam Hospital.
As the chief guest at the event, Revanth Reddy announced plans to establish a health tourism hub in Telangana. He explained that in the Shamshabad area, institutions excelling in the field of medicine would be given opportunities across 500 to 1,000 acres to create this hub, offering comprehensive treatment for various diseases. He also credited NTR with pioneering coalition politics and launching numerous welfare schemes, such as subsidized rice and affordable clothing. Revanth Reddy expressed his hope that while Nandamuri Balakrishna would continue to oversee the film industry, his sons-in-law, Lokesh and Bharath, would take on responsibilities in politics and welfare. The event was also attended by Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital Chairman Nandamuri Balakrishna and former MP Nama Nageswara Rao.
