Polavaram: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited the Polavaram project just days after taking office. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by Andhra Pradesh Water Resources Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu and other officials.
During his visit, Chief Minister Naidu toured various locations within the Polavaram project in a special bus, inspecting multiple departments. He attended a photo exhibition showcasing the project’s progress and conducted a detailed inspection from gates 22 and 23, where officials briefed him on the current status of the works.
Chandrababu Naidu also assessed the submerged guide bund area on the left bank, the gap-3 area, and the upper coffer dam areas. He was accompanied by ministers Nimmala Ramanaidu, Kolusu Parthasarathy, several MLAs, and other officials.
As part of his tour, the Chief Minister examined the damaged diaphragm wall and reviewed photos of its construction. He queried officials about the progress and gathered detailed updates. Following the inspection, CM Chandrababu Naidu held a review meeting on the Polavaram project and is expected to address the media with his findings and plans.
