Soon after taking oath as Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu visited Tirumala and announced that he will begin cleaning of administration from TTD. But, latest stampede at Tirupati exposed the collapse of the premier temple administration.
The Chief Minister said to be shocked when both Trust Board Chairman BR Naidu and EO Shyamala Rao were locked in a heated verbal altercation in his presence at a review meeting on stampede. Both of them were seen blaming each other without showing any respect for each other.
While the Chairman complained to the Chief Minister that EO is not informing him of anything, EO became angry and questioned him `which was not informed to you?’. Moreover, he blamed him for giving a statement on Sri Vani trust without his knowledge.
The Chief Minister became serious after seeing the dispute between the two. ‘What are you talking about? Is this the method? You are talking beyond your scope. On whom are you showing your frustration? What actually happened here? What are you talking about? There should be patience and coordination while working together”, he warned them.
Chandrababu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan are angry over the developments taking place in Tirumala during the stampede in Tirupati. Pawan demanded that there be complete changes in TTD. They became serious about the EO and AEO.
According to high placed sources, the Chief Minister has decided to transfer both EO and AEO soon after Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan, begins today, which will continue for 10 days. It is said that he is considering a young officer from CMO to manage the administration at the TTD.
Pawan made it clear that strict action will be taken against those responsible for the latest incident. Pawan apologized to the devotees for the latest incident. It is said that as many as15 meetings were held on the arrangements for Vaikuntha Ekadashi in TTD.
The extent of the gap between the Chairman and EO is becoming clear by the fact that together they were only in one of those meetings. The government has received reports that EO Shyamala Rao, Chairman BR Naidu, and Additional EO Venkaiah Chowdhury are acting as if they have the decision-making power.
A few days ago, Chairman Naidu met CM Chandrababu and complained about the EO. With this, Chandrababu summoned the EO and suggested that they work together and act in coordination. However, it became clear in Chandrababu’s latest review that there is no reconciliation between them.
