The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jaganmohan Reddy has participated in a special cabinet meeting, exclusively with the Agriculture Minister K Govardhan Reddy, Civil Supplies Minister KV Nageswara Rao, AP Agri Mission VP MVS Nagi Reddy and a few others. The primary motto of this meeting is to prepare everything for the implementation of Rythu Bharosa.
CM in his briefing to the Ministers asked them to prepare a long list of all the eligible farmers on or before 10th of May at the individual rural secretariat in order to disburse the amounts and things needed for their Kharif season. He directed the Ministers to release all the pending funds of 33 crores to the farmers as an aid to start their crop. The state government is planning to implement this season’s Rythu Bharosa at their earliest alongside distributing the needed seeds, fertilizers and other paddy procurement. In this regard, the CM asked the Ministers to have at least one godown in every Rythu Bharosa Kendra jurisdiction in order to save their supplies from weather conditions.
Ministers who participated in the meeting assured the CM that they will take all measures to make this distribution a smooth and effective one. They also spoke about CM’s app by which any farmer can sell their product for the best market price. All in all Jagan is highly concentrating on his schemes keeping the general elections in mind.
