CM Jagan inaugurated the fourth phase of the YSR Cheyutha scheme funds during a meeting convened at Pisinikada in Anakapalli district. A sum of Rs 5,060.49 crore was swiftly transferred with a press of a button. An amount of Rs 18,750 each has been credited to the accounts of 26,98,931 women aged between 45 and 60 years.
Addressing the gathering, CM Jagan expressed his joy in providing financial support of Rs 75,000 to women beneficiaries through the Cheyutha scheme, especially on the occasion of Women’s Day. He highlighted the government’s commitment to the economic empowerment of women during its tenure.
CM YS Jagan elaborated that the Cheyutha fund program would continue for 14 days from the current date. He reiterated the government’s pledge made during the padayatra to provide financial assistance to women and expressed pride in fulfilling it. The YSR Cheyutha scheme, initiated by the AP government on August 12, 2020, has already disbursed Rs 56,250 to each eligible woman across the last three phases.
