CM Jagan directed his MLAs to aid flood-affected regions

Sunday, December 22, 2024

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan has asked all his MLAs and Ministers to immediately visit the flood-affected regions of the state and provide necessary aid if necessary. The Chief of YSRCP made sure to send help to the flood victims.

The ongoing heavy lashes of rains in the two Telugu States are affecting the daily lives of people. The river Godavari is exceeding its limits and is causing a great threat to the flood-affected regions and the officials have already started the rescue measures. Meanwhile, CM Jagan held a special meeting with many collectors from flood-affected regions and directed them to always stay available for help. He also asked his MLAs to visit the regions in person to assure them that help is on the way. Jagan in his camp office held this meeting via Teleconference as the floods are increasing each passing day. The YSRCP Government wants to minimize any risk since it affects their goodwill as the general elections are on the way.

Opposition leaders are slashing the CM for his negligence in being the state head. They ask Jagan if he cannot visit the flood-affected areas and blame the latter that the CM never leaves his Tadepalli camp office despite any natural calamities whatsoever. CM who tours the nearby meetings in a helicopter can at least do an aerial survey as a sign of care if not visiting the regions in person, opined a political expert.
