Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu warned the officials to make AP a corruption-free state and take strict action against any allegation of corruption in any department. He held a review of the IVRS public opinion poll at the Undavalli camp office on Saturday. Officials explained to the CM that satisfaction has been expressed with the coalition’s rule over the past year.
On this occasion, the officials explained to the Chief Minister the details of the public opinions on pension distribution, Anna canteens, sand, cheap shops, hospitals, municipal, temples, and APSRTC related services. They especially gave details on issues like fertilizers, seeds, lamps, ganja, and drugs.
It was explained that 27.8 percent said that there was harassment in public places regarding violence against women, and 59.5 percent said that the police response was good. The report said that 27.4 percent said that there were problems in their areas regarding ganja.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the main focus should be on where corruption is happening. He clarified that immediate action should be taken if proven. The CM advised the officials to conduct a technical audit on the public opinion poll. He said that satisfaction should be increased wherever there are problems.
Chandrababu suggested that 10 important public issues such as welfare, job creation, and roads should be given more priority and efforts should be made to resolve them. He wanted to know how many people got jobs through Work from Home, investment, and skill training.
He clarified that job fairs should be organized in 175 constituencies and all services should be provided under WhatsApp Governance Mana Mitra by August 15. On the other hand, he said that ideas should be developed to ensure that ration items are delivered to the homes of the disabled and the elderly.
Chandrababu said that the opinions of the beneficiaries should be taken on alternatives such as increasing the number of cheap shops or giving coupons. He also said that action should be taken on the dissatisfaction of the people in the supply of sand.
